Just to refresh your mind, read below some quick guidelines:
• Demand - How bad do players want or need it
• Rarity of the item - Items that are more rare will typically sell for more
The two above, dictate the price of an item on the server; so make a habit to scan the auction house as much as possible in order to learn the prices. (This will help you control the market)
• Level of the item - Higher level items sell for more money
• Auction house availability - If there are a lot of the items in the auction house, it may drive the price down.
If the auction house is full with those items at the moment you want to sell them, take into consideration how their price varies and sell them another time.
• Trade items - If the item requires rare or expensive components, the item will typically be sold for more money.
Ragesteel set for example sell good, also the Felsteel one and the Adamantite set.
• Level of the person who will be using the item (for example twink items are sold for very high prices)
• Vanity items – some items like orb of deception, blood elf bandit hood, etc are sold for really high prices
